Confirm your exact device variant supports eSIM

Samsung, Google and other manufacturers can sell different hardware variants under related model names. Check the device settings and manufacturer documentation for your exact model before purchase.

Use SIM Manager or the equivalent settings page

After adding the eSIM, label it clearly and choose it as the preferred SIM for mobile data. Keep the normal SIM enabled only if you still need calls or messages.

Check roaming and APN if there is signal but no data

Many travel eSIMs require data roaming on the travel line. If the network connects but data does not flow, verify the plan's APN instructions before changing other settings.

Automatic network selection is usually the first choice

If automatic selection fails, troubleshooting may include manually choosing a supported network listed for the plan. Return to automatic selection once the connection is stable unless support tells you otherwise.
