Validity comes first

A large data allowance is not useful if the plan expires halfway through your stay. Check both the total data and the number of valid days before comparing prices.

5–10GB can suit a Wi-Fi-heavy month

If accommodation and work locations have reliable Wi-Fi, mobile data can be reserved for maps, messaging, transport and everyday browsing. A moderate allowance can be enough when video and large downloads stay on Wi-Fi.

20GB and above adds flexibility

Heavy social use, remote work, navigation every day, hotspot use and frequent media consumption make larger allowances more comfortable. A month also gives background traffic more time to accumulate.

Consider a plan with top-up support

For longer trips, a top-up-capable package can be useful if your usage is uncertain. Top-up availability is package-specific and should be checked rather than assumed.
